Friends of Warren County Memorial Library Annual Book Sale

Save these dates: Oct. 10 and 11 for the Annual Book Sale. The Friends of Warren County Memorial Library invite all to come to the Annual Fall Book Sale at the library on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 10 am until 4 pm. A special preview time open only to Friends of the Library members will be available Friday, Oct. 10, from 2 until 5 pm. and also Saturday from 9 until 10 am. This preview time gives members of the Friends the opportunity to choose from the large selection of books, CDs, DVDs and magazines before it’s open to the public.

You can join at the book sale if you’re not currently a member. Only $10 buys an individual membership that goes through 2015 and gives you access to the preview times.

Again, the Friends will offer the popular “Fill-A-Bag” sale at the end of the book sale from 3-4 pm. For $2 you can fill a bag provided by the Friends with your choice of books. What a bargain!

Membership in the Friends of the Library is a wonderful way to show your support for our terrific public library that provides so many services to the local area. We have one of the busiest public libraries in the state. The Friends are proud to provide funds to supplement the budget provided by the county and enable the library to offer programs and activities for all ages.

This is a great time to clear out your bookshelves to make room for more books. Donations to the Friends book sale may be brought to the library anytime, but are especially encouraged the week before the sale, Oct. 6-10. So mark your calendars for Oct. 10 and 11 and join the Friends at their Annual Book Sale!
