These programs are designed with literacy, culture, and community in mind, and will feature guests and related library resources and displays. Our inaugural program will feature an inspirational performance by local vocalist Blakely Bates. Let’s get our books off the shelf!
Books, Brew, & You
Wednesday, September 17 10:30-11:30 am
Drop by for a cup of coffee and participate in a review of our new and featured titles you “Must Read.” Feel free to also discuss your recommendations and favorites!
(No alcoholic beverages will be served-only coffee.)
Afternoon Tea with BBC

You are cordially invited to enjoy a sip of tea and delicious treats while viewing the BBC movie, Saving Mr. Banks(Rated PG-13), starring Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson. Saving Mr. Banks is the account of Walt Disney’s twenty-year pursuit of the film rights to P.L. Travers’ popular novel, Mary Poppins.
The Library Crew (TLC) Young Adult Advisory Meeting
Monday, September 29 4-5 pm
Teens interested in volunteering at the library are encouraged to attend.
TLC meets the last Monday of each month.
