YA Anime Club: “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” (PG)

Our Thursday night series of programs intended for a young adult audience continues! The first of our anime club programs will feature Miyazaki Hayao’s classic film, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Set on a post‐apocalyptic Earth, the story follows Nausicaä, a young princess of the Valley of the Wind who gets involved in a struggle with Tolmekia, a kingdom that tries to use an ancient weapon to eradicate a jungle of mutant giant insects (the Ohmu). Nausicaä must stop the Tolmekians from enraging these creatures.
